Coding Experience So Far

I really enjoy coding so far. I've been throwing stuff at this site to see what sticks, and I think I've finally got a rhythm going. I'm experienced enough that I can flag previous mistakes I've made on older pages. I'm definitely cleaning things up, as part of my Maid of Heartly duties.

I know I've got the basics of HTML and CSS down, I just need to 1. study website design theory to understand how to better design a webpage, and 2. learn the basics of javascript. I've already been procrastinating on the latter. It's a little intimidating, though I'm sure it'll be fine once I start to get it.

I've also been trying to be more proactive about accessibility. It's not too hard honestly? Like, yeah it takes a minute to write an image description, but it's not hard, especially for simpler images like blinkies or stamps.

Additionally, I'm trying out a new code editor at a friend's suggestion (thanks Sariel!). I was using Notepad++, but now I'm trying out Phoenix Code. I like that I can more easily swap between files in Phoenix, though Notepad++ was nice for not overwhelming me given what my skill level was.

So yeah, that's roughly my outlook on coding right now. Learn javascript, try and be accessible on the front end, and try out this new program more. I really want to learn more JS so I can do more cool things for Homestuck. I want to make like a flashcard system using troll words. I know I could just use Quizlet, but this would be a good way of testing myself! Ohhh, testing. I could make a troll word vocab test. I'd thought about that before. I should do this.

I've got ideas in my sponge. Watch out, I'm ready for 'em. Rawr.
