Let Me Tell You About Homestuck!

Okay, if you've stumbled upon my page and don't actually know what Homestuck is, it's basically a webcomic that got really popular in the 2010s. To give you a brief idea of what it involves, it has a lot of bisexual aliens, time travel, casual usage of the R word, lots of media res fan engagement, highly referencial comedy, racist comedy, and a cult following.

I'm going to be real, it's not everyone's cup of tea. Not only that, but sometimes the fandom has a bad reputation for various behaviors often associated with the, at the time, majority teenage fanbase. That said, it's also an incredibly thoughtful piece of art that has been compared to Shakespearian plays. It's incrediby reflective of the time it was created in and I mean that as a positive thing.

I first read Homestuck when I was in high school.
